"I saw this bag when I was in England. I was walking all day long with a heavyweight Travelon bag, and was looking for a lighter alternative. This bag weighs half of what the Travelon weighs with the same amount of stuff! I love the fabric, and that I can open the bag up for more storage space. "I love Sherpani purses. They are all that I use. I ordered the Vale in the color Morocco. I like the upgrades from my previous Vale, the metal clips replacing the plastic ones etc. The color is nice, however, I am not fond of the feel and look of the fabric."

Do these zippers have a puncture proof feature? Can a ballpoint pen go through the zipper & open it?
Hi Cathy, while they aren't technically puncture-proof, we do use reversed zippers on our bags, which makes it a lot harder for anything to sneak through compared to regular zippers! Hope that clears things up!
